Christmas Dinners

Join us for a delicious Christmas dinner, songs and entertainment, and a visit from Santa!

Or Shalom Youth: Baked Potato Patrol

Sunday, December 17 | 2:30–3:15 p.m.

The youth of Or Shalom, Vancouver's Eastside shul, will serve free baked potatoes on this sixth night of Chanukah.

 


 

Stanley Park Seniors Christmas Train

Monday, December 18 | 3–6:00 p.m.

The Bright Nights Christmas Train and Stanly Park Train Plaza sparkle with three million twinkling lights!

Meet at our House to catch the bus to Stanley Park, and return to our fireside lounge for chili and warm drinks. Register early at the front desk, or call 604.879.8208.

 


 

Christmas Lunch for Seniors            

 

Tuesday, December 1911:30 a.m.–2 p.m.

Join our Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House family for a special Christmas lunch. Come for turkey with all the trimmings, and stay for entertainment, bingo and music!

Hot Meals in Late December

Our House is open these three days, and we welcome people to warm up in our fireside lounge with coffee and a free bowl of vegetarian chili.

 


 

Help us fill hampers for neighbours in need

Provide donations by December 10

We will provide 25 hampers for seniors and other adults in need. Please see our wish list of food items, fresh produce, gift certificates for groceries, and clothing to keep warm and dry.

We also welcome cash donations to support any initiatives at Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House.

International Holiday Feast

with The Food Connection

Wednesday, November 29 | 6:30-9:30 p.m.

We invite you to bring friends and loved ones to this potluck dinner. Share something from your own traditions—or start a new tradition with us!

Our gathering is a friendly, down-to-earth occasion where all are welcome. Please bring a dish to share, or just bring your appetite if you're short on time or ingredients.
