On Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, we came together to celebrate your hard work, passion, and the positive ripple effect you create in our community. This time, it was our turn to give back. Our staff worked extra hours to make sure that every single volunteer in the room felt the appreciation they deserve, because you’ve given so much of yourselves to us.
There’s an app for that: Vancouver program brings groceries to seniors’ doorstep
In rainy Vancouver, venturing outside for groceries is often a daunting task, especially for people without access to a car, such as many seniors. An app developed by nurse Ian Li is helping seniors order groceries for free delivery by connecting them with local volunteers.
