A Testimonial

My name is Mary Stewart, and I serve as Manager of Vancouver Youth Services at the Broadway Youth Resource Centre (BYRC) with Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS). My relationship with MPNH began about five years ago when I started working at BYRC, and it has been a privilege to support the organization’s mission as a community partner. Throughout my involvement, and since BYRC’s inception, we have witnessed MPNH’s essential and steadfast community-based services. MPNH excels at demonstrating the lasting impacts of services, by bringing together partners and creating positive and sustainable change for this community. Through our partnership with MPNH, community members have been able to access supportive programming to better their lives, and those of their communities.
As MPNH marks its 50th anniversary, it is an opportunity to recognize the organization’s remarkable legacy and the contributions it has made to communities across the region. Looking to the future, I hope MPNH will continue to build on this strong foundation by continuing to be a place where people of all ages feel welcomed, valued, and connected to their community.
Over the next 50 years, we hope MPNH continues to build a legacy of creating strong relationships, fostering belonging, and bringing people together across generations and communities. Ultimately, we hope MPNH’s legacy as a trusted leader that fosters innovative partnerships, continues to help residents come together and build a more inclusive, resilient, and vibrant community. I am honoured to support MNPH’s work and look forward to the lasting impact it will continue to achieve in the decades ahead.
