Get to know our volunteer of the month, Shelly!

What do I do in my role as a volunteer?
I help organize the rooms, put out snacks and drinks, clean up and occasional child care. I try to use new Arabic words and am a friendly face, helping out wherever needed.

When did you begin volunteering at MPNH?
May 2025

Why do you volunteer?
I volunteer to contribute to the community by helping others. I chose this group as I have an interest in Arabic Culture and Women's Programs.

Can you share a story or instance where you felt you made an impact?
I have applied for a Community Grant and hope to contribute in more ways if successful.

Your favorite memory at MPNH?
The volunteer lunch was fun and I was able to help another volunteer in sharing her written notes of thanks.
