MPNH Cake and Tea Party!
Our Cake and Tea Party was another wonderful success among our community members! This year, we were especially grateful to celebrate MPNH’s first 50th birthday milestone alongside so many caring and supportive people, and what better way to kick off the celebration than with cake!
The day was filled with joy, laughter, heartfelt conversations, and meaningful stories shared over tea and sweet treats. It was a beautiful reminder of the connections and sense of belonging that make our community so special.
A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, who generously helped serve guests and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout the event. Special thanks to Cynthia and Melany for their wonderful home-baked cakes and sweets, and to Sandra Pahl, our Office Manager and Volunteer Coordinator, for her delicious lemon berry cake. We also extend our appreciation to Jessica Wismer, our Indigenous Programmer, for thoughtfully preparing unique tea blends featuring lavender and oregano, as well as labrador and horsetail.
We are equally grateful to our generous donors who shared sweets and other delicious treats with our community, including Mount Pleasant Thierry (@thierrychocolat), Cream Pony (@creampony), and Gluten Free Epicurean (@glutenfreeepicurean). Your kindness, time, and generosity helped make this gathering even more meaningful and memorable for everyone involved.
To our cherished community members, staff, and volunteers who have supported us from the very beginning, thank you for the incredible gift of community. Without your ongoing care, dedication, and support, we would not have reached this remarkable 50-year milestone, and we look forward to many more years together.
