Volunteer Appreciation Party at Mount Pleasant!
💙💜💚 Last Saturday, April 18, 2026, we honoured our dedicated volunteers at our Volunteer Appreciation Party at Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House. This year’s theme, Ignite Volunteerism, celebrates a year-long, nation-building commitment to giving back and strengthening our communities.
Sandra welcomed our volunteers and set the tone for a warm and joyful celebration, where good food helped fuel great moments and connection. A diverse group of people truly brings out the very best in the fabric of our community at Mount Pleasant, shoutout to the community board members who joined us that day, your presence made it even more meaningful.
From the Front Desk to Newcomer Programs, Youth Programs, and community events, every role is essential in keeping our community strong and connected. Whether someone has volunteered for 13 years or just a few months, every hour of service truly makes a difference.
