Family Programs in Full Swing All Month Long at MPNH!
Families and caregivers have been sharing how grateful they are for the welcoming space, support, and connections they’ve found through our Family Programs at Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House. Over the past few weeks, our rooms have been filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful moments of community. 💛
During the Positive Discipline Parenting Program, parents gathered to learn practical tools for raising confident, capable children while supporting one another along the journey. In another corner, our dedicated childminders and volunteers spent time connecting with the little ones, reading stories, playing games, and creating a warm environment where children feel safe and cared for.
Our lead facilitator, Kris, helped make it all possible by looking after the younger children so parents could fully participate in the activities and conversations. Meanwhile, in Parent-Child Mother Goose, families shared songs, stories, and smiles before enjoying a snack together, one of those simple moments that brings everyone closer.
From learning and laughter to playtime and shared snacks, these small moments add up to something special. At Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House Family Programs, it’s always more fun when we come together as a community.
