Meet an MPNH PRIDE Storyteller, Marylee!

Marylee is a story-teller and standup comic who proudly shares the ups, downs, fun, and tears of being a lesbian. She’s volunteered for many seniors and youth programs, and is a long-time supporter of the work of MPNH.

Join us and watch her perform at our Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House PRIDE BBQ 2024!

Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and delicious treats. Our event will feature an array of exciting activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy!

Join us for a delicious BBQ, freshly popped popcorn, cotton candy, and face painting for kids and kids-at-heart. Enjoy live music, story telling, and a safe, inclusive space to celebrate love and acceptance.

4:00 PM - Warm welcome from Devika together with our special guest
4:10 PM - Food (we will serve as long as quantity lasts!)
5:30 PM - Performers take stage!
6:00 PM - Hang around and make new friends!
