MPNH Cake and Tea Party!
🎂 Our Cake and Tea Party was a joyful celebration of MPNH’s 50th birthday milestone, bringing together community members, staff, volunteers, and supporters over tea, sweet treats, and meaningful conversations. 🍰 Thank you to our incredible volunteers, bakers, tea makers, and generous donors — including Mount Pleasant Thierry (@thierrychocolat), Cream Pony (@creampony), and Gluten Free Epicurean (@glutenfreeepicurean) — for helping make this gathering so special and memorable.
Neighbourhood House Week at Mount Pleasant!
Welcome to our community, welcome to your Neighborhood House. From May 3–9, 2026, join us for Neighbourhood House Week and step into our “living room” for coffee, connection, and a glimpse of our programs. Meet your neighbours, share stories, and feel at home. We’d love to see you there!
Our House is Your House
We began serving the community in 1976 with a youth leadership program that we ran from the basement of a local church, and added our second program, free income tax clinics, from a mobile trailer in 1977. Later that year, we moved to our first storefront building in the 500 block of East Broadway.
