Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House, a registered charity neighbourhood hub that offers events, childcare and community programs, has converted two parking stalls in front of its building into a mini park, or parklet. The new gathering space on the corner of East Broadway and Prince Albert Street includes an enclosed patio with seating and a garden.
How Nobody’s Perfect Parenting helps families
Nobody’s Perfect Parenting (NPP) is a free program for parents and caregivers with children aged zero to five. It gives parents a chance to connect, share parenting experiences, learn about child health, safety and behaviour and strengthen their parenting skills and confidence.

It’s almost here! The parklet outside Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House is all set to be built this weekend on July 20-22. We’re so excited to be able to provide our neighbours with a safe and comfortable spot to rest and play.
