May is Childcare Month, and here at Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House, we’re proudly celebrating the dedication, compassion, and tireless work of childcare professionals, this month and every month.
Preschool Children’s Our Dream Neighbourhood Exhibit
Our preschoolers have not only honoured their artistic skills but have also learned valuable lessons about collaboration, empathy, teamwork, creativity, community, and the power of dreaming big. They have shown us that even the smallest among us are capable of creating something truly extraordinary, and always thinking about the people we have around us.
Supporting families through affordable childcare
“At the Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC, we will certainly opt in to the child-care fee reduction initiative,” said Deb Bryant, CEO of ANHBC. “We’re glad to be part of an initiative that provides some financial relief to the families we serve.”
