Our Year In Review (April 2024 - March 2025)
Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House held its Annual General Meeting on September 17, 2025. The evening featured lively music from The Satyas and delicious Latin American dishes prepared by the Between Women team. Sally Lee opened with a moving poem and prayer, while the Board shared inspiring stories from the “Transformation” Impact Report. Five new Board Members were welcomed, outgoing members were thanked, and the meeting concluded meaningfully at 6:50 PM.
Individual Counselling Services through Adler Community Health Services (ACHS)
Individual counselling services are available through Adler Community Health Services (ACHS) at Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House (MPNH). Services are primarily provided in-person, however, some services can be provided through tele-health using Zoom.

Multicultural Cooking Club: Celebrating Eid-al-Adha with Community and Culture
On Saturday, July 19th 2025, we celebrated the Muslim festival of Eid-al-Adha with a vibrant, multicultural gathering. The event welcomed around 60 participants and was supported by amazing volunteers from diverse backgrounds—including Iran, Afghanistan, Mexico, Egypt, China, Gambia, and more.
