Multicultural Cooking Club: Celebrating Afghan Culture

Our Multicultural Cooking Club event was attended by 74 participants where they enjoyed some Kabuli Palao, Kufteh, and some Afghani cookies and tea. They also had the opportunity to learn more about Afghan culture through music and dance, clothing, arts and crafts, and so much more.

Our House is Your House

We began serving the community in 1976 with a youth leadership program that we ran from the basement of a local church, and added our second program, free income tax clinics, from a mobile trailer in 1977. Later that year, we moved to our first storefront building in the 500 block of East Broadway.
